That’s why two of the biggest stars in the world are coming to the Calgary Saddledome for SEVEN SHOWS this September. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are taking up residence in Calgary from September 1-9, offering matinees and evening performances that are all sure to sell out.
Garth Brooks is of course one of the best singer songwriters to emerge from country music. You could compare him to Hank Williams, Sr. and Jr., and not blink an eye. He’s sold more albums than Elvis Presley and has won countless awards, being inducted into the Country hall of fame in 2012 (and not a minute too soon!) Garth Brooks is an absolute treasure, and you can bet he will be playing your favourites, from “Friends in Low Places” to “If Tomorrow Never Comes” and “The Dance” when he takes to the stage this September.
Joining Brooks is his collaborator and wife, Trisha Yearwood. A star every bit Brooks’ equal in her own right, Trisha Yearwood exploded onto the scene in 1991 with her hit “She’s In Love With The Boy” and has been a legend ever since. Her signature song, “How Do I Live Without You” was featured in Con Air, and is one of my all-time personal favourites. Together, she and Brooks perform beautiful, emotional duets that remind you of how strong love can be. Don’t miss this chance to see them together.
