Servus Tube Park at WinSport

If you are searching for something for the whole family, the tube park at Winsport is a perfect activity. With eight lanes to race down, WinSport’s tube park is one of the largest of its kind in Western Canada. There is also a magic carpet that brings you and your tube to the top, so you won’t have to worry about lugging your tube up the hill. Come and enjoy the snow with this unique experience in Calgary. Tickets are required in advance. Spring Break tickets are also available.

Get Off The Apps And Onto The Ave

If you want to get a real taste of the entertainment and great restaurants Calgary has to offer, come downtown to 17th Ave and check out the fun daily social mixers taking place until February 28th! From Jewellery Workshops to Chocolate Making Classes, there are many different events taking place this winter for you to check out.

The Glow Winter Festival is coming back on February 10-12 & 17-19 of 2022 for its fourth time in Calgary. In the heart of our downtown core, Glowfest is a 6-day one-of-a-kind experience that features interactive light displays, activations, entertainment, food trucks, and art installations. Check out this free family-friendly event that illuminates those chilly February nights and ignites the culture of Calgary.

Schipp’s Creek Calgary Dinner Show

Whether you’re a fan of the show or just a fan of music and laughter, Calgary Dinner Theatre is putting together a show you will not want to miss. Accompanied by a delicious dinner, this unforgettable performance is a great way to spend your evening, in case you need a break from the cold. Different ticket prices vary depending on whether you plan to come on a weekday or weekend.

If you are wanting to enjoy some time outdoors, what is a more perfect way to do so than spend the day skating at one of Calgary's outdoor ice skating rinks? There are many skating rinks all around the city, but some local-favourite rinks that also have rentals available are The Olympic Plaza, Bowness Park, and North Glenmore Park.

No matter what brings you to Calgary this year, enjoying any of our top recommended winter things to do mentioned above, will surely create memories that will last a lifetime.  And if you need a place to stay during your visit, we’d love to have you at the Days Inn by Wyndham Calgary Airport.
